Kantar Worldpanel has hired Mitra Innovation to conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) that will focus on evaluating the levels of accuracy in transcribing customer receipts using Tesseract as the OCR engine.

The objectives of the PoC are:

1) To analyse the accuracy of receipts

2) To evaluate Tesseract and ensure that it is fit for Kantar Worldpanel’s requirements
